Aumi starts as she means to go on - 2012 QubicAMF Bowling World Cup, Wroclaw, Poland

Defending champion Aumi Guerra of the Dominican Republic started in fine form at the 48th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup in Wroclaw, Poland, hitting 1201 over her first 5 games.
She said afterwards: “I have no expectations and just want to enjoy myself – but hey! I’m beating the men at the moment! I missed some spares today and I didn’t spot the transition quickly enough so that’s something to concentrate on for tomorrow.”

Overall the standard of bowling was very high, with a 199 average needed for the coveted top 24 spot. Patricia de Faria of Venezuela is currently in 24th, ten pins ahead of Canada’s Felicia Wong.
