This year we have three players taking part who have won the title before: Aumi Guerra of the Dominican Republic is a double champion having won in 2010 and 2011, Krizziah Lyn Tabora won for the Philippines in 2017 and Australian Sam Cooley won last year.
At the official residence of the deputy governor of South Sumatra, H Mawardi Yahya, where the dancers perfomed the Tanggai and some bowlers showed their other talents.

After the championship dust settled, we moved on to the awards banquet for the 53rd QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup. Here we recognized our newest champions who then awarded the Sportsman and Sportswoman award, as well as the top country.
With four former champions in our tournament, we look at the pressure that it is involved with being a past champion and trying to get back to the top.
Two players could make it three Bowling World Cup wins. One of course is defending champion Clara Guerrero, the other is the amazing Aumi Guerra from the Dominican Republic.
